- SYMBIS is a comprehensive marriage program designed by Drs. Les & Leslie Parrott, passionate advocates for healthy relationships.
- The SYMBIS Assessment is an evidenced-based report created for YOU and YOUR relationship. It is especially helpful for couples contemplating marriage, engaged couples, and those within the first 2 years of marriage.
- One of our Certified SYMBIS Facilitators will review your results with you including your individual & relationship strengths, opportunities, and any caution flags identified by the assessment tool to ensure you are prepared to build a healthy marriage.

Schedule Your Sessions & Take your SYMBIS Assessment
Our coordinator will help you schedule your sessions & order the assessments. Allow 30-40 minutes to take your assessments. Take the assessment individually without discussing your answers with your partner.
Meet with Your Certified Facilitator to Review Your Results
Your Certified Facilitator will meet with you virtually. Over 2 80-minute online sessions you will review your complete results and learn new insights into your relationship. At the conclusion, the report will be yours to keep.
Get Married with Confidence & Keep In Touch

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IF WE WHAT MORE THAN 2 SESSIONS WITH OUR SYMBIS FACILITATOR?
WOULD THIS BE COVERED BY INSURANCE?
Unfortunately the Premarital Assessment is not covered by health insurance. Coaching services may or my not be eligible under your FSA/HSA. If they are, we are happy to accept your FSA/HSA card as your form of payment. If you have questions regarding eligibility, please consult with your plan administrator.
WHAT IF ONE OR BOTH OF US HAS BEEN MARRIED BEFORE?
The SYMBIS Assessment will generate a customized report, including additional information that is specific to your circumstances. There will be a section of your report dedicated to issues such as second marriages and blending a family.
DOES SYMBIS REQUIRE YOU TO HAVE A RELIGIOUS FAITH?
No. SYMBIS is suitable for all faiths or couples without a faith background. As religion and faith can be a passionate topic for couples, there are questions in the SYMBIS Assessment about your religious faith which are used to highlight important questions you may want to discuss with your partner.
DO YOU OFFER A CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVE?
We do, however our practice is not limited to Christian counseling/coaching or clients of Christian faith. We serve a diverse clientele of varying faith backgrounds and beliefs. We take the approach that our client will have the opportunity to determine what role, if any, faith plays in their work with us. For our Christian clients who request to incorporate their faith in the process, we welcome the opportunity to do so. DO WE HAVE TO BE ENGAGED TO DO THE SYMBIS ASSESSMENT?
No! If your relationship is getting serious, it’s never too soon to begin exploring your potential future together.
WHAT IF WE ARE ALREADY MARRIED?
Any couple can use SYMBIS and many married couples at various stages find the results to be extremely helpful. Married couples will get a personalized SYMBIS+ report that will highlight areas of your marriage that are strengths as well as those that probably need attention.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE THE SYMBIS ASSESSMENT?
Most complete the assessment in 30-40 minutes. For the most accurate results, remember to take the assessment individually so you are not influenced by your partner’s answers.
IS THE SYMBIS ASSESSMENT BASED ON RESEARCH?
Yes. Every aspect of the assessment is grounded in multiple studies to ensure that the tool is both reliable and valid.
