How It Works
Book A Session
Blueprint for Success
Prior to your appointment, you will complete a coaching agreement and a detailed coaching assessment. Your answers to these very important questions are critical to helping us better understand your relationship and how we can help you achieve your goals for it. Your coach will review your assessment and build a customized plan that will morph and expand as you continue working together.
Begin The Work
The first 1-2 sessions are designed for you and your coach to get to know each other. Together, you will review the assessment and plan to ensure they reflect the full dynamics of your relationship. You’ll also identify which areas need the most attention. The relationship with your coach is vital for your growth and improvement, so we want to make sure you both feel the partnership is a good fit.
Becoming Self Aware
The only way to improve a marriage is to focus on what you can change… YOU. Your coach will help you identify your ‘blind spots’ that are hurting your marriage and take a deep dive into your contributions to the relationship. You will learn powerful skills and tools that can help you take immediate action to begin to repair the damage, heal past wounds and improve communication between you and your partner.
Beacon of Hope
When your spouse sees changes in you, they may become cautiously curious. They can still be giving you the same “I’m done” messages, but they are at least open to spending some time trying to assess the future of your relationship. Your coach will meet with you together (or with your spouse alone, in order to build trust) to determine if you are both willing to fully commit to working on the relationship together.
Build A Better Relationship
When both of you are fully committed to working on the marriage, with your coach’s continued guidance, you will rebuild the relationship using the new skills you’ve learned during this process. You will map out an aftercare plan to ensure the positive changes stick for the long haul. If your spouse chooses to leave, your coach will be there to guide you through the healing process and help you be in a better place to have a healthy relationship in the future – with yourself and/or with someone else.
